No more fake leads – OneDome launches tool that qualifies using Facebook

OneDome has developed a new tool which provides highly-qualified leads via social media. Using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, it sends agents a complete profile of each potential customer. Any leads generated by the OneDome tool come with publicly available information on the customer, saving agents valuable time prior to a meeting.

Statistically, we know it takes around 15 viewings to sell a property, and even if 30% of these are repeat viewings, that is still 10 potential buyers per property that need to be verified. A good agent will spend between 20-30 minutes researching a customer before they meet them, meaning that the OneDome social verifier could save a company up to 5 hours for every property on their books.

The tool is especially useful for vendors, with one of the biggest drains on an agent’s time reported as following up on fake leads. Whether it be a lead from a portal, or through an automated valuation tool, customers often chose not to give a correct email address or phone number. In fact, research shows that 32% of consumers intentionally provide incorrect email addresses when filling out online forms to prevent being marketed to in future.

Founder and CEO, Babek Ismayil, commented:

“Our tool cannot prevent people from entering fake details, but with over 78% of the UK’s adult population using Facebook and other social channels, it allows us to provide agents with a quick way to eliminate time wasters. Leaving them to focus on following up the hot leads”.

OneDome, the pioneer of digital transformation tools and hybrid services for High Street agents, celebrated working with their 100th branch last week, and have seen a huge increase interest over the past two months. Having initially launched their product suite in the summer, they officially introduced their tools to the market in September after testing. In addition to their current client base, which includes agents such as Prickett & Ellis and Russell Simpson, they have also issued contracts to a further 586 branches.

The company, which began by offering booking and lead generation tools for companies that want to stick to traditional commission-based model, now also offers a turn-key hybrid product for estate agents who want to compete with the many online disrupters.

OneDome, which has raised over £4.25 million in funding, has recently hired industry stalwart Tim Price, former Head of Estate Agent Network at Legal & General and Director of Live Organisation. Price is OneDome’s second strategic hire from the industry, following the appointment Rachel Dipper, former Head of Residential Marketing at Knight Frank, in July.

The company operates a freemium model for smaller businesses, offering many of its products free to firms with fewer than 50 properties. there is an enterprise pricing solution for larger companies.

Founder and CEO, Babek Ismayil, commented:

“it is essential to support small businesses and grow with them whilst being able to cater to the needs of large firms with complex businesses. With a team of 45, including 35 developers, OneDome is well positioned to cater to every need.”

Ismayil continued:

“An agent’s website is often the first place that potential customers will go to find out more about the brand. The technology offered to them in this environment has to be slick, otherwise they run the risk of losing them to a competitor. We take what we do at OneDome very seriously, that is why we employ engineers from top technology companies, to ensure we continue to develop products that meet the ever-changing needs of industry professionals.”

OneDome has been accepted as Industry supplier by Propertymark NAEA and is a regular supporter of industry events including the ESTAS, EA Masters, and the Negotiator and RAN conferences. VP of Marketing & Partnerships, Rachel Dipper, said:

“We will continue to support these key industry events, as they provide valuable opportunities for agents to network, stay updated, and be recognised for their achievements”.
