Designed to showcase some of the best and diverse Estate Agency talent scattered across the country, Agency Wow regularly compiles an ‘Agency of the Month’ feature.
This month we had the pleasure of catching up with Fairview Estates in Nottingham to find out more about this rapidly-developing Agency and what makes them stand out in an inherently saturated Estate and Letting Agency market.
Having been voted the Best Letting Agent in Nottingham in 2013, 2014 and 2015 by the ESTAS Letting Agent Awards, and being on a mission to put customer service first, Agent Wow was keen to have a quick chat with one of Fairview Estates’ directors, Aaron Cambden…
AW: How long have you been in business?
Aaron Cambden: We have been trading for six years now.
AW: What are your main activities?
Aaron Cambden: We had been focusing mainly of rentals but during the last year we have started with sales as well.
AW: Who are your main team members?
Aaron Cambden: Our main team members are myself Aaran Cambden, Director, Rob Pitick, Director and Pierce Bennet, Lettings Manager.
AW: What are the biggest challenges your agency is faced with?
Aaron Cambden: Our biggest challenge, for me, is maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring our customer service stays high whilst we grow.
AW: What do you do differently?
Aaron Cambden: One of the principle ways we do things differently is by listening to the customer and tailoring our service to meet their demands. We can’t get every sale or let right, but we certainly try our best!
AW: Do you use any innovative/property technology in your business processes/operations?
Aaron Cambden: We have great software provided by Gnomen, which is currently improving to make our systems easier.
AW: Do you employ any marketing techniques?
Aaron Cambden: We use a couple of the old marketing tricks such as flyering and papers. However, online marketing is where we spend most of our budget and get the best returns.
AW: What would you like to see happen/change in the industry or arrive on the proptech scene?
Aaron Cambden: My biggest view on a National scale would be some way to implement a deposit scheme for house purchases on sales which would have implications for a party who pulled out of a sale.
Thanks to Aaron Cambden and Fairview Estates for taking the time to participate in our ‘Agency of the Month’ feature. Stay poised for forthcoming features of Agents, suppliers and negotiators… showcasing the top talent in the increasingly innovative, diverse and specialised property market.
